Sandy's behavior is so much improved lately :)!
Don't know if it is the combination of diet change - Innova reduced fat with 52% protein and maturity or what. We are all so much more relaxed. We still don't give her an inch and constantly work with her re: dominance. What a relief from the past year - a hard one :(!
We wouldn't think of getting rid of her now! Your pet-sitting service has made a difference. Thanks so much! Joan

By the way, Max is changed, dramatically. He is now an ol sweetie, lot's of affection, much more gentle, much better listener, and basically a happy fella. He and Snowy get along quite well, no hassles or aggravation. We are now playing combined tennis ball, soccer ball and it is working out pretty doggone well. Thanks to you for teaching us the quiet path of training.

62 lbs back in April when she had that cyst removed from her shoulder. She is able to jump up on the sofa

Well I've finally moved into my new
house and am still unpacking and getting settled. Lucy did tremendously well
during the move and drive down here and is getting acclimated in her new house
and new yard. I'm finally able to come up for air now.

We would like to HIGHLY recommend Karen Douglass and her staff to anyone who is the kind of animal lovers that we are...obsessive!
Our cat, "Baby" is a gorgeous 9 year old male "Norwegian Forest Cat", and he
is our only 'child'. Baby has had sudden bouts with illnesses in the
past, one incidence occurred only 3 days before our wedding! When you
are on vacation, and you're worried about your animals, and you truly are an
animal lover, you can't completely relax and enjoy your vacation. We
actually changed our honeymoon location because our kitty was so ill. We
wish we had known Karen then!
When I found Karen's Company listed in the yellow pages and contacted her, I
thought it would be routine; you call someone to perform a service, they show
up and then you send the check in the mail. Not Karen; she actually had a
meeting at our house to familiarize herself with our cat before we went on
vacation. The informational packet she gave us, which included
her credentials were very organized and professional. She stayed and chatted
for a while, and we had a sense she was trustworthy and sincere, as well
as obviously being a nurturing animal lover.
During our 2003 summer vacation, we were away for one week. Karen scheduled
herself and her assistant, Debbie to visit Baby the first day, so that Baby
would be familiar with someone. They changed his water everyday, fed him,
watered our plants, cleaned his litter box, brought our mail in and gave our
kitty lots of TLC. When their daily visits were complete, they wrote us a
journal of his behavior, and his well-being. Being the protective cat mother
that I am, I called and talked to Karen to check how he was feeling while we
were away. Karen and Debbie were very thorough, and it was money well spent.
I also was relieved to know we didn't have to ask or depend on relatives or
neighbors to check in on Baby.
We would recommend Karen and "All Creatures Great and Small" ANYTIME! Please

Please thank Carolyn and Laurie for taking good care of FeeBee for me with such late notice. Carolyn stepped in during her usual Monday and Tuesday afternoon visits and Laurie went the extra mile by showing up, not only Monday evening and early Tuesday morning, but also earlier Tuesday morning.
I got a note that she visited FeeBee very early am! That's great that she did that. I didn't expect it and probably FeeBee didn't either and I'm sure was pleasantly surprised. Please pass my gratitude to them both!

I am so happy to report to you how neat it was when I got home from my trip to read all the loving and humorous notes that were left about Dusty. I am an avid scrapbooker and include Dusty in my family albums because I take a LOT of pictures of her! Dear Karen,
I can't thank you and your staff enough for the excellent care that you provided
during our vacation in August. When we were away a friend of mine who helped us
find Mandy stopped by to take her for a walk. She ran into Debbie while she was
there and they talked for a bit. When I got home my girlfriend called me and
wanted to know how I found such a qualified, kind and caring person to take care
of the animals. I happily passed your information on to her.
Secondly, my sister was stopping by to bring in the mail and she commented that
she did not have to do anything because every time she got there, Debbie had
already taken care of the horses, dog, mail and she even put out the trash cans
on collection day! When we got home, everything was in its place as if we had
never left! Debbie really went above and beyond the call of duty and I want both
of you to know that your efforts are appreciated. We could not have gone on or
enjoyed our vacation so much if it wasn't for this wonderful service that you
provide.

I just wanted to express my thanks for taking such good care of Timber & Boomer and the 3 cats while we were away. It was so nice to come home to dogs that were not anxious (unlike the times I had left them in a kennel) I hope to use All Creatures Great & Small again in the future.
